Facility Rental

The Family Resource Center (FRC) is a community building at 7610 E. Palmer/Wasilla Hwy, Wasilla, Alaska organized to provide accessible space for Mat Su businesses and agencies. Operated by the Co-Occurring Disorders Institute, Inc (CoDI), the FRC provides facilities for the Bring the Kids Home project, the Strengthening Families Programs, The Mat Su School District Special Elementary Day School, and Alaska Youth and Family Network support services.
The Conference Room (44 ft by 20 ft) has 16 foot ceilings with a large white board and active Internet & telephone access, projection screen and ceiling mounted AV equipment with both remote and hardwired capacity, built in sound systems lends it to microphones, videos and music needs.
The Group Room (17 ft by 19ft) is perfect for smaller groups, meetings, or trainings. It is equipped with two video cameras with a microphone system for four track recording. It is also fitted with an observation window perfect for supervision and training observation.
The Kids Room (12 ft by 14 ft) has its own small restroom, a television and white board.
The D Space (30 ft by 12 ft) has its own entrance, a TV and white board.  All rooms have wireless Internet, hard wired Internet & telephone capability.
Food restrictions are necessary for maintenance of the facility for all community members. It is recommended that food only be served in the Conference Room. The other spaces may have food service with explicit and specific written permission from CoDI. Drinks are to be restricted to the Conference Room. Drink restrictions include all staining juices, sodas, power drinks etc. If there is a question about the liquid or drink, please choose a different selection.
Because this is mostly a public or foundation funded facility, it is necessary to offset costs for utilities, cleaning, supplies, and sundry items. CoDI has established the following price schedule for those that wish to arrange and use this fine resource.

The above charges represent the ceiling cost. CoDI reserves the right to adjust the charges according to the circumstance and on a case by case basis.
Use of the equipment is explicitly outlined in the individual use contract. CoDI does not warranty compatibility or absence of technical difficulties. CoDI will attempt to make effort to resolve any issue that arises at the time of the usage. The renter assumes responsibility for extra cleaning or excessive damage, loss, or breakage of equipment, toys or structure on a replacement cost/repair cost charge.
