What can I do if I need help with my child?

To access our counseling services, you need to call our intake staff to talk about your needs and request an intake packet. You can also come to our office (11921 Palmer Wasilla Hwy– next to the light at Hemmer Rd) and pick up an intake packet. Once our intake staff receives a completed packet, she will contact you to schedule the next available assessment appointment with the most appropriate clinician based on information provided to us.

The assessment takes about 2 hours to complete in which the clinician meets with the child and caregiver/guardian to help assess the level of need and diagnosis. Then, the clinician will work with the family to develop a treatment plan. Once the assessment is completed, the clinician will work with the family to schedule appropriate appointments within CoDI and possibly other agencies.

If you have any questions, please contact our Intake Specialist at (907) 745-2634
